Daily life in Bangkok

Bangkok is the capital city of Thailand since 1782. Many stories happened here, from the Chakri Dynasty around 230 years ago. Bangkok has center of the spiritual, cultural, political, commercial, and educational. Include almost 10 million s of people that living, working, and studying.

This city has never sleep:

In the morning we see many people wake up in the morning. They are going to Morning market around 5.00am-7.30am. most of the places that I familiar with is located in Bangkae market, Huay Kwang market, Chokchai4 market many people come to buy many things necessary for living or people come to buy for re-seller again. Things for buying stuff are vegetable, pork, sausages, chicken, fish… etc. Otherwise we’re buddism country we can see many of priest in yellow clothing in many places around you.

If the crisis from internal factors from political and military with cambodians troops problems and external crisis from hamburger crisis happens how about people in the grassroots lives? How about all travellers votes to Bangkok’s for the best city in the world goes to crisis? It effects all people in all societal levels. So, the politicals and economist will try the best for this. Things that we can do just be happy and be stronger heart to encourage us pass through this big crisis.  

 

In the late of morning (7.00am-9.00am) its time to adventure on the road. Traffic jam is the normal problem of developing countries including Thailand. You know if the rain fall in the morning we can see the biggest car parking eventhough the express way, normal way or just walk way that have motorcycles. You cannot runaway, cannot move. This is very boring stuff that many governments, bangkok’s metropolitant cannot solved.

9.00am-5.00pm. its time to work, many people are in their office ‘what did they do?’ Many answer becoming with chatting, eating breakfast after stamping time record, sleeping on their desk before boss coming… I think many office around the world would be like this. Let’s turning outside the office, we’ll see many people go to someplace or somewhere.. traffic is less of stuck.. many places can go but you cannot park your car in place you go, you’ll see the sign is saying ‘Full’ if not full you might pay a lot for your lovely car. Starting prices for parking fees starting from 20-40-50-100 Baht. from Sathorn and Sukhumvit area, till the most expensive that I confront with is 200 Baht. from 5 stars hotel in Bangkok that I’ve paid before.

How about the lunch time? where you want to eat? You can choose where you want to eat.. price that you comfortable with.. or who do you want to eat with? In Bangkok you may eat lunch for cheapest price around 20 Baht. But I used to eat at Sathorn Road in one day you must have money around 70 Baht for your lunch (one dish of lunch, one glass of water, ice-cream or dessert) after gas price is goes up many products shifting the price up and never coming down when gas goes down.. huh!! and when you get to office lots of people might sleep!!

 

5.00pm-7.00pm. its time to go home, relax, see your boyfriend or girlfriend,.. many people are wait for this time. you think if this monday how it feel like? Sure that traffic coming to struck on the road again.. many people on sky train or bus stop also crowded.. but some people are getting start of the day.. some people wake up and go to work in the night club around Bangkok such as Patpong, Silom, RCA, Ratchada or rural of Bangkok are in Thonburi. Or someone choose to study more master degree that all university that located around Bangkok

 

9.00pm-12.00am. some people are arrived home, staying with lovely family for some staying at lovely books or lovely girl or guy!! I don’t know .. but some people is the peak time for do their work, some people are going to sleep. and waiting for tomorrow will come and relife again!!

 

See!!! Bangkok is the center of everything… Business, Transportation, Telecommunication, Education or Nightlife… Have you ever come to city before??
